1. All entries must be a poem.
2. The poem can be of any length, but please take into account the fact that I have to read all of your entries and comment on all of them. That being said, no 10 page poems, please.
3. The poem should have for subject a body part. It should be something of an ode, from one character’s point of view about another.
4. It does not have to be romantic in nature.
5. Any ratings, fandoms, themes, and types of poems are acceptable.
6. It does not necessarily have to be about only one body part. You can have each verse describe a different one, or something of the sort, but I would prefer if it concentrated really on just one part. I would like to see how creative you can get describing one certain thing!

Entries shall be graded on their grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, use of literary devices, my personal appreciation, originality and ability to describe the body part(s).

Mhmm, so yeah, today school was kinda boringg. Just learnt that we have maths test tmr ( think so, or was it next week?), and yeah, I think I'll be able to do trigo. :D Hahas. Just finished my LA letter, not bad for chiong work, and after writing my fanfic, I don't believe that I still have mental capacity to finish my work. Wow, guess it's called improvement? :P

The guys are playing Unity Sec tomorrow, and I'm not sure if I should go watch or not... -thinks- ah well. Still nida do the LA proj, and fraser said tomorrow he has band prac before the match, so I guess we'll have to postpone again. :/ Hais. So much for my no procrastination resolution. At least chinese proj finish edi. :D Heh.

After school went for piano, and I think I talked to Ricky on the phone a lot today. :/ Lol. It's too sunny to emo today, seriously. I saw the clearest blue skies in a long while, and it really made me smile, right down to the depths of my heart. Lol, now I'm thinking of chim, tragic, emotional lines to go with future oneshots. X: Rawr.

Okayy, time to go help my bro prepare for PSLE chinese oral tomorrow. Jiayou Jun! You won't mess up cos there won't be any chance of you saying 'lil' and 'kinda', seeing that it's in chinese. :D

So yeah, I have to write a story every two weeks for the challenge, and it has to adhere to the guidelines of the challenge set. It's based on elimination, so I'm kinda scared right now. D:

So what is the first challenge of this competition? It is called “Show Me”, and the objective is quite simple: for me to be able to get a good look at your writing styles. I want to see your strengths, your weaknesses, and the way that you write in this next challenge. Therefore, the only rules are the following:
1. It must be your own original work, and it cannot have been written previously (that is to say, you must make up something in the next 2 weeks, not just recycle something you wrote in the past).
2. It must be a one-shot of fewer than 4 pages and more than 2 pages.
3. It can be from any fandom of your choice.
4. Write me a story involving two characters of your choice, from any point of view that you like, in which one of them is attempting to buy the other one a birthday present.
5. Now this may seem simple, but here’s the catch: there must be one dominant theme throughout the story. This can be horror, comedy, action, romance, anything you like, but I should be able to identify the theme while reading.

Just got back from the chalet. Had lots of fun. :DD
Kaes, I've got pics, so I'll start from Sunday's kaleo session.



During kaleo, they made us put all our shoes in the centre of the room, then we had to pair up and help each other put on our shoes.



Some people had more trouble than others though... How many guys does it take to help another guy put on a pair of shoes?

After kaleo, sharyn came along and we went to check in first. Then we watched olympics on TV first, before the people started arriving.
At first Ricky like, abitabit anti-social, stay outside the chalet, then later when we playing waterbombs, I chased him with jiaqi (tagteam, HAH!) and finally managed to wet him. Cos he wearing class tee, then everyone can see his name behind, so my godparents and my mom all know his name edi. That's not a good thing lehh. ==" Especially if my godpa comes up to me and says: "I like Ricky."
So then had BBQ dinner, then go back chalet and played cards and watched somemore TV. Jiaqi and Ricky and Yulong had a sort of disagreement over what to watch, since the guys wanted to watch soccer and she wanted to watch some weird show on suria.
Later had a cake, even though I asked not to have one. It was mango, and quite nice, but I didn't eat much.



Okay, I look weird, I know. :/ Heh, but the cake is preeeettyyy! :DD

Thenthenthen, the adults all left, leaving me, christina, jiaqi, jingmei, ricky, ym, and yulong to ourselves. We played truth or dare, and got pretty sick of it. :/ Actually they wanted the guys to sleepover, but my mom already said can't, so yeah, they went home.

Woke up at about 8am and had cup noodles for breakfast. :P

Got invited to this fanfic competition, and if I get selected to take part, I'll have to write a whole lot more. :X And I'll have to write a lot of other fandoms besides maple. Oh joy. At least I tried though. Don't know how the organiser decided to invite me. I write maple fandom, a fandom that hardly anyone reads or recognises. Guess it's a good thing then?

Rawr, there's no dinner at home. D: Nida go out and eat. Hmm, I'd prefer to do that than stay at home and watch NDP like my aunt's doing now. :/

So yeah, went out to eat at Bedok Food Court and my carrot cake took freaking long to come luhh. Somemore the food also not that nice. Aiya, wait for nothing. Bought marshmallows for tomorrow then went home with a bad mood cos of the food. D:

On to happy things bah. My brother is out! Haha! :D No annoying brat pestering me to play settlers with him!

Last night talked with Ricky on the phone for quite awhile, and became super high instead of super emo. I slept pretty well actually. (:
Andandand to top it off, 2A won 1st for the sec2s for this cross-country event. Nice try all! :D

After the event, got a lift from Chenyin to Tanah Merah, then met up with my da korkor at Plaza Sing. He treat me watch 'Money No Enough 2' as my birthday present. The movie was super funny lor! A little touching, but overall, a good movie. :D

Mhmm, today lessons ended at 10.45 cos of the RS Symposium thingy. Rawr, it was super boring luhh. And then we got scolded just cos we were bored and made noise in the LT. :/ Yeah well, school was supposed to end at 2.15, but ended at 2.05 in the end, even after we got scolded. Random fact: I asked Ms Teo if I could have a birthday present seeing that my birthday's tomorrow, and she actually agreed. Wow. o.o And Sher, feeling better? :X Don't emo ah. Today's geog got replaced with science. D: Rawr, 2 periods of science. So sian. D:
One period of chinese we had to do some QSE survey thingy, and I put disagree for a lot of things. They asked questions like: Do your teachers make efforts to know you personally? Sheesh. Which teacher would sehh. =/ I'd give them a lot of headaches.
Chinese did roleplay again, then had assembly talk about streaming and the schoolbased gifted education classes. Walao, it's damn unfair. Only those classes get special previleges and special curriculum. That's one of the main reasons why I'm leaving DHS, to anyone that's still interested.
Had another 2 science periods later, followed by CME. Then went to eat with jiaqi and rae. Later in the MRT, we met louis, and I made him agree to buy me a birthday present. Hah! :D But the thing is, he's only giving it to me next week.
At first me and jiaqi supposed to go tm to buy crystal a present, but louis complained that we pangseh him cos he nida go pasir ris, so okay lo, we went to whitesands instead. Anyway it's safer for jiaqi, so there won't be any chance of her parents seeing her out shopping. :P
Mhmm, so yeah, we settled on a red watch for crystal, seeing that her team colour is RED. Andandand, I saw a green watch and it looked nice, so I bought it for lincoln didi, seeing that his birthday is on thursday, and he likes green. :D
So yeah, I'm supposed to wrap the watch for her and we're giving to her tomorrow. =/ Hope she likes it. Wait, even if she doesn't she can't do anything, since we gave it to her and give cannot give back. :D Hahas.
Hmm, I seem to celebrate my birthday for a week sia. Let's see...
Last Thursday/Friday: HaiHua gave me my FIRST birthday present for this year- a basketball handphone accessory. (:
Saturday: Godparents bought me my sneakers.
Sunday: Celebrated birthday at NOSS with pizza.
Today: Got a lot of early birthday wishes and a lot of people asking what I want for my birthday.
Tomorrow: Meeting ricky at cityhall to try and find Secondhand Serenade's album that's finally out in SG, Fall For You.
Wednesday: Meeting Absol Master at cityhall, then going to buy my crumpler at last. :D
Thursday: Going out with lincoln and chengsin to celebrate both of our birthdays. Chengsin's treating, as usual. (:
Friday: After cross-country, my da korkor is gona treat me to a movie and lunch. Hahs.
Saturday: Settle the last minute details for my party.
Sunday: My birthday party! ^^
Monday: Sleepover. :P

Same as yesterday, I blasted music in the finishing boat. :P But had a different IC today, instead of Andew, we got Richard. First thing he saw me, he said: Hi nicole, you can call me Richard korkor, I'm very young one. Wow, didn't know 44 classifies as young. =/
So anyway, had lunch out at sea today, and actually felt hungry after it. Richard said wanted to call macdonalds, but in the end, no time already. D: Rawr.
Today I found out isaac, cedric and aaron's sail numbers, and managed to talk to them after they finished their races. Hahas, I get to see how badly they do. :D
My bro did really well, and he attributes it to my boat. Hah, see, my boat is ownage okayy. Oh and this means that I've officially retired from sailing optimist, and my bro's taken over my stuff. :P I'm thinking of going 420 next year, but if I can't, I'll continue helping out at regattas and such. (: It's a lot of fun, seriously. :DD
Mhmm, after showering and stuff, we had pizza at NOSS, and Miles was like, making me blast I'm Yours and The Remedy, and he was singing along super loudly. Lol. It was entertaining, I have to admit. (:

This morning took a lift from jiaqi to go jurong sports hall for some Boccia invitational open basketball championship. We were supposed to do CIP there, butbutbut, the event was brought forward and the organisers didn't tell our school. D: Rawr. Not fair.


So anyway, the first thing we got there was like, whatthehell? The gym's like, empty?


So yeah, walked around, then found the hoops 'folded' in a corner... I took the pic, that's jiaqi's hand showing off that she can touch the net. :D

I worked today, from 2plus till 5plus. Before briefing, my godparents brought me to tm to buy converse sneakers! Yeah, I know that the sneakers are on my wishlist, and as you can see, they're cancelled out already. Butbutbut, I didn't get one pair. I got TWO! :DD hahas, well, I couldn't decide which one I wanted, so they said they would buy me both. (: After buying, we went to hagen daz for icecream, then back to NSC.



Nice right? :DD No wonder I have problems deciding. :P

Kae yeah, I was late for briefing. =/ And I got posted to the byte and laser course! D: Pirahnto and Tij got optimist course, so I kinda complained. And uncle james got a little pissed at me. :X
So yeah, I went on Alpha course finishing, and actually had fun. (: It was super slack and I blasted music. Me and wanping were recording the numbers while andrew, the IC, drove us around cos he refused to put down anchor. There was one more guy, a scout from newtown sec, butbutbut sorry, forgot your name. :X
At first, out boat like sinking liddat, so we went back to shore to ask and the service crew said that there was too much water in the boat. So yeah, they brought the boat up and whoa, we had to wait 15mins for all the water to empty from the insides...
Finishing boat is kinda scary, especially when you know that all the sailors are counting on you not to mess up their scores and stuff... and when they all finish at once, it's hard to see their numbers.... :X
Hahas, well, I got $10 as usual! :D And CIP too, so that ain't bad. Andandand, no sunburn for once! :DD
