I KNOW, I KNOW, MY BLOG IS DEAD. D:
So here I am, updating at last.
Review Tests just ended last week, and I'm very sure I screwed Chem and Maths.
On the top of my Maths paper, I wrote 'I suck at Maths ): ', and for Chem, I wrote something even more epic.
The question was something about Oxygen forming a double bond with another Oxygen atom, and though sulfur is in the same group at oxygen in the periodic table, it forms S8, not S2, and has single bonds between each atom. Then they asked us to suggest a possible reason why it's like that, and here's my answer:
"I don't know the answer, to be honest, but let me share what I think. I think it's because sulfur saw oxygen was already O2, and decided that it didn't want to copy, so it decided to form S8 instead. It's good to be different.:D "
Bestest answer, right?
Oh, you know, after I came back to school from AYG, everyone said I looked super dark and all. But guess what? I went to help out for a keelboat regatta today, and now I just added one more layer of darkness. :X Whee. But it was worth it. It's my first time seeing keelboats in action, and my first time in such a cool committe boat! It's got two decks, upper and lower, and there are toilets and beds in an air-conditioned lower cabin! Oh gosh, awesome. :D
Me and Joel were manning the flags for the race starts, and it was fun! :D
The only thing was that since the boat was anchored and the wind and waves were super strong and big respectively, the upper deck got kinda rocky after awhile, and all of us "young" volunteers got motion-sick...
So then me and Joel decided to go sit in the front of the boat and slack during the race, and we ended up talking to the SP sailing Vice Prez about random stuff. HAHA. :D
Can't wait to help out again next week for the passage race, cause I get to stay over at RSYC, and they say the food's super awesome! :D
Mmm, that should be all for now, cause I'm kinda tired already. See, I updated okay!
