Yep, I didn't go to school today. I won't be going tomorrow too anyway. (:

I went get my eyes checked today 'cause they were stinging like hell in sunlight and direct light and tearing at super random times of the day.

So yeah, mom made me wake up at 6.30am so that she could send my bro to school before bringing me to Marine Parade polyclinic. Turned out that the polyclinic was under renovation, so I woke up early for nothing apparently.

We then went to Geylang polyclinic after being advised by a taxi driver we chanced upon in the carpark. Not bad, the second floor held the temporary MP polyclinic area. So yeah, waited super long for my turn, then I had to get my eyes checked and go back to the doctor before they referred me to Changi General Hospital. They claimed because it was nearest to our house, they referred us there, but it would have been better to have referred us to another hospital entirely.

Changi General Hospital's Specialist Clinic S (the eyecare clinic) had an effing long queue today. Because I was a walk-in patient, I was given super low priority and ended up having to wait for an hour just to have my eyes checked a second time. I then waited another 2 hours before finally getting to see the doctor, and her attitude was like, terrible. She treated me like I didn't know anything until my mom came into the room. Yeah, I spent bloody long in front of that eye machine where she kept shining this light into my eyes and making them tear and sting badly.

The conclusion was that I over-wore my contacts and that my eyes were showing signs of strain. Like I didn't already guess that? I wear my contacts for 12 hours a day thanks to my wonderful schedules that makes me leave the house at 6.45am every morning and return home at about 7 plus and 3rd lang and basketball days. She even had to get another doc to come in and confirm her diagnosis. Sheesh.

Then had to wait even more for payment, then wait again in the pharmacy to collect my medicine. After that, my mom dropped me off and rushed to work for her meeting, leaving me to find my own lunch, and I ended up having instant noodles again. This afternoon, I played maple 'cause I was bored, and thankyou fizz kun for helping to remind me to take my eyedrops. (:

Now on to the medicine. She prescribed two eye drops, one to take whenever my eyes feel dry, and the other to use every hour. Her every hour includes overnight also, which equals to absolutely no sleep for me tonight. Tomorrow I have to go to the hospital AGAIN at 9am, and just imagine, I'll be damn tired and yet have to let the doctor poke into my eye with the machine again. What's worse is that I have to go alone tomorrow, and I don't know if I'll sleep halfway while waiting or not.

And there's the play tomorrow night at 8pm, so Chen Wei and Sean, if I happen to fall asleep or yawn a lot, you guys will know what happened. But that'll be super ps, so I hope that won't happen.

Ah well, eye drops in 10 mins, time for me to go sulk in a corner, 'cause I'm grumpy when I miss my sleep.
